Table of Contents

    Build and Design:

The phone is 6.6 inches in size, and the in-hand feel is good because it is not that wide horizontally. My Metal has a silver frame, and at the back, we get a glass with the Lava brand.ng, it is curved from the side. There is a camera module with Agni written on it, a volume rocker button, a power button on the right side, and an extra action button. Nowhere is a monopoly. They have put everything in their phone, and we liked their implementation. You can do single click, double click, long press, open an app, set shortcuts like flash, Silent ring, screenshot, you can set anything.

Let’s talk about the phone, Below, We get a speaker, Microphone, SIM tray Type C 3.2 Gen 1 port, No other brand gives this type C port at this price point, With which you can get display output and fast speed data transfer too, In case you want to do projection, gaming or live streaming on a big screen, It doesn’t have that much gaming performance but still it is good. On top, we get 2 microphones, 1 speaker grill, and an IR blaster. There is no dedicated app on the phone. The weight of the phone is around 200 grams. It is not heavy, and it has a thickness of 8.8m. It is not that thick.

    Display:

Display is good, It has a 6.67 inches flat AMOLED display, It has LTPs up to 60Hz, It has a 1.5K resolution, 10-bit display, 120Hz refresh rate, It was running on UI, Instagram, Chrome, but then on YouTube it was running on 60Hz So, It might be updated in the future and it might be able to run on 120Hz as well And it can vary from app to app. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front, and if you look at the bezel.

This phonhas ais 93.5 screen-to-body ratio, and overall display experience is good, and it has a pre-applied screen guard. It is not a protector; it can’t protect you. The color gamut is also good, 94% RGB, 84% P3, and the brand says that it has 2400 nits peak brightness,s which is the brightness of a particular window.

All time brightness is around 500 nits and if it goes to high brightness mode then it reaches 960 nits So, Whether you want to run it indoor or outdoor, brightness doesn’t disappoint which is a good thing And since it is an AMOLED display, you get support for always on display in which you can change the font color, Like you don’t have to do the customization of the clock and it also supports HDR, Yes, it doesn’t support Dolby Vision it supports Widevine 11, You can watch content on maximum resolution in OTT, You get 4K 60 HDR support in YouTube.

    Specifications:

Talking about the technology, MediaTek Diamond City 8350 processor S with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. age Its read and write speed is around 3.1, 4.0 is a good thing.

    Performance Benchmarksmrks:

We were looking at the benchmarks approximately 1.4 million good score You can see the CPU numbers of Geekbench 6, OpenCL for GPU, AI benchmark was also found And stability was maintained in wildlife extreme stress test and you can see the loop scores here if you want to compare with any other phone And CPU stress test in which there was no red or green in green and yellow in 15-30 minutes.

This processor is the same as in OnePlus Nord CE 5, and its performance is good You do day to day tasks and you have to open normal apps, There is no problem in the phone and there is no heat Yes, gaming First of all, BGMI, in which we get maximum smooth extreme, i.e. we get 60 FPS average, i.e. around 59. Smoothness is good. And we also tested Call of Duty Mobile, Wegott Ultra on low. In this, we get the same 90 FPS gameplay, but the average is around 80-82 FPS.

    Audio and Haptics:

The quality of the speakers won’t disappoint you and won’t excite you too much and obviously, At this price point, You don’t get any certification like Dolby Atmos And talking about haptics, It is not fun at all It has a very good motor in it You won’t feel any vibration while typing or any other implementation in UI we found the vibration motors a little disappointing Like at this price point, Poco X7 Pro had good vibration motors in comparison to this It feels very intense and it doesn’t have any sharpness.

    Connectivity:

It has 14 5G band. We were using Jio’s sim in this. You will not face any issues with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth v5.4, which are good in connectivity. At least, it is the latest connectivity IR blaster is on top, so you can control some devices. It doesn’t have an NFC, which is very difficult to get under Rs 30,000. It has an optical fingerprint scanner,r which is a bit of a hit and miss, but it works fine.

There are 21 sensors, andthey gyro is also available. It is good in terms of price point. Android 15 comes out of the box. Updates are good in security; 3-year updates are available, 4-year updates are available, but Android 16 is not coming out of the box, so we will consider one update as a waste. Lava has added some applications, such as outdoor toolbox, Lava care, aother s, rs to the outdoor toolbox.

    Special Function:

You can convert your conversation into text, you can clone the app, and you can hide the apps, which are very good features. And we also get the support of split-screen. In customization, you can expect stock Android, you can change your wallpaper, Gradient, and you can change the size of icons. And in settings, it was showing the side application bar, so that it can open applications from the side.

    OS and UI:

The app opening and closing animation is smooth, and it runs verysnappily becausee stock Android doesn’t consume so many resources, so it is very fun to run. The RAM management is also good. If you open an old app, it doesn’t refresh quickly; it opens up. There is also a game booster app in the menu, in which you get game acceleration, Game sidebar, Performance, don’t disturb, and many other options. You can customize it.

    AiFeaturess:

Now let’s talk about AI. It has YUAI, through which you can ask questions and open an app. We were trying it in English. Sometimes it misses in the hit and miss, and it listens to regional language but responds in English only. It has AI agents in its YU AI app, a math teacher in which you can solve math problems, Interactive language learning, male and female companions, a horoscope, a text assistant, a writing assistant, an AI call recording, and a photo editor in which you can erase, expand, etc. AI features are available in most phones and it has AI features.

    Battery:

This phone comes with a 5000 mAh battery. You can get 7-9 hours of screen time depending on your usage. If you are gaming and using a camera, then it is a different thing; it can vary the backup. The phone charges up to 50 minutes with its 66W charger, so the charging speed is good.

    Camera:

Now, coming on to the cameras, 50MP main camera, 8MP ultra wide, and the front is also 50MP, and you can record videos on 4K 60FPS from front and back, but there is no support for portrait video or bokeh video. You can record 4K 60fps with the front camera, too. You get the EIS option here. If you are walking normally, then you get this much stabilization. And if you turn on EIS, then stability gets improved, but it gets cropped. You can see thatthe extra camera has entered the face.

If you are taking photos in a bright environmenthen thehes exposure control is very strange.e It will overexpose the brightest part, and the pixels will become white. Even if you see the skin tones, if there is sunlight in the outdoors, then it doesn’t manage the skin tones, but still,l it is an 8MP, ultra-wide, you can’t expect much, and it is not a camera-centric phone. It takes photos in daylight.

    Conclusion:

This was the full review of the Lava Agn,4, and if we talk about its prositIt has a metal frame, 4K 60fps video recording, the design is really good, UFS 4.0 storage, and Type C display output. If we talk about the cons, it is IP64, which could have been IP68. The battery is 5000 mAh, and the vibration motor could have been better. So, these are some of its cons. It is better in terms of performance.
