Oppo Reno 15F Review: Affordable Phone or Not?

Build and Quality:

Talking about the look of the phone, this time it has been given a little Aurora look. You get to see a Galaxy-like design. The back is made of glass, where you get a triple camera setup. And this time, in the camera frame, you get to see the branding of the Reno AI camera. And the camera frame comes with glass. Glass is provided here. It comes spherical. In-hand feel will be better. The rear side has a curved unibody design. The frame is of aluminium with antenna bends. Volume rocker case and on/off key are available on both sides. IR blaster, mi,c and antenna bends are available on the upper side.

A noise cancellation mic is also available on the upper side. The bottom side has a sim tray, a mic, a Type-C connectivity, and a speaker grill. The phone offers 7.89mm thickness and weighs 201g. The weight of the Reno 14 is a little heavy. The weight is good, and it feel’s littlelightweightt. But it offers IP68, 69, and 69K ratings. That means it will bear the hard splash and warm water; it can also bear boiling water, so you get to see the waterproofing of this phone.

Display:

If we talk about the display part, the same display that was in the Reno 14, we are getting to see the same type of display, like 6.59 inches, 1.5K resolution, and LTPS panel,, which is 60, 90, and 120 Hz, that is, you will get a native refresh rate of 60 toa minimum and a maximum of 120 Hz. Screen to body ratio is above 93%, and the bezels are low. High brightness mode is 12,00 and the peak is 4000 nits. Brighter display, HDR10+ support, optical fingerprint sensor, or aalways-on on display. Let’s talk about the colour. The colour of the wallpaper is also different. The screen is a bit better.

Overall, the support of Widevine L1 is good. Gorilla Glass 7i protection is also offered. But the hardware part is different. The smooth animations make it look better. The benchmark score also hits above 1.4 million. That is, you will get a benchmark score of 1.4 to 1.5 million. If you want to do gaming, Call of Duty or PUBG games get 90 FPS support, but on Free Fire and Mobile Legend,s you get 120 FPS support, rt aa nd passive liquid cooling saddle is available on the rear side, which keeps this phone cool. You will get a good gaming experience also in this phone.

Internal Specs:

When it comes to these type of phones we have to always check the internal specs over here So in the Reno 15F what we have is the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor So definitely not the highest end when it comes to the processor but it is still a Snapdragon processor And in terms of storage here we do have up to 12GB of RAM which you can of course expand it with the RAM Turbo feature or the RAM Expansion feature and you do have up to 512GB into the storage, mine does come with 256GB but you don’t have to worry about it because you can use the microSD expansion on this which of course is rarely seen on most phones nowadays so you can actually expand your storage with that.

Face/Finger Unlock:

Also, this phone here does have an optical scanner, so it works really, really fast. It is located a bit lower than usual, al and also you do have your face un. All you need to do is just put in your feet, and it gets the job done.

Camera:

Let’s talk about the camera part. If you look at the specs, then the Reno 14 one is like 50 megapixels on the front, and it can record up to 4K 60FPS videos. Telephoto is also available which comes up to 50x now you can zoom up to 18x in the videos up to 3.5x which maintains the detail as soon as you zoom in you will definitely see the lens shift but the bokeh video is also on 1080p 30fps and yes if you zoom in the bokeh video too then you will get to see the zoom up to 3.5x slow motion 1080p resolution and 120 frames per second and with 720p it offers up to 480p slow motion so pretty decent. In slow motion, the telephoto lens can now zoom up to 120x. The post-process is better.

Yes, it can zoom up to 120x. Apart from that, it takes good portraits where you get different focal lengths. You can capture portraits with depth of field,d and the skin tone is kept on the brighter side, and you will also get to see the exposure on the brighter side. If we talk about indoor lights, you get portrait modes. Like an AI portrait, glow better with this type of feature. Now, if we talk about the ultrawide, then it is of 8 megapixels, which c, a n record video up to 1080p 30fps. And yes, the details are a little softer than the main sensor. The main sensor captures more details. It can capture photowithon higher megapixels too. In today’s time, in the time of vlogging, people requirea widere angle a little more because all the content is created from a phone.

AIi Features:

Let’s talk about some AI features. As we told you, you get an AI call translator, you get an AI mind space. One tap mind space, and it works with the integration of Google Gemini. It will be your total assistant. Whatever command you give it, it will align your entire program. Like screenshots, if you have found a screenshot from this mind space, you can easily give it a command, and you can sort, find, make details, write an email, and you can easily do this work from this mind space.

But interestingly, there is an AI Link Boost Technology 3.0 version, where these signals are not strong, it supports WiFi calling, a nd a   it also makes these signals strong. A dual speaker comes for a multimedia experience whose sound is better. Sound comes b. You are saying the wording which is going on in the movie, or some conversation is going on, you are offered clear, crisp sound. The handfree is also good. We also have to see the call connectivity properly. Apart from that, you get support of Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC support comes with USB 2.0, a nd the rest of the connectivity.
