OnePlus Pad Go 2: Better Than Other Tablets?

But in terms of megapixels, the iPad camera is bigger. They are very similar in setup. The OnePluPad is a little bigger than the iPad. The tablet comes in a metal build. It is a full-frame unibody design. It is quite thin. It is 6.8mm thick. And if we talk about weight, then the weight of the OnePlus Pad Go 2 is 602 grams. The Wi-Fi variant is 2-3 grams lighter than this. The brand has said so.

So, according to a 12-inch tablet, we did not feel its weight more. On the right side, we geta volume control button and a microphone. On the bottom side, you get two speaker wheels, aType-Cc por,t and a mic. The left side is completely plain; there is nothing here. On the top side, you get two speaker wheels, a sim ejector tray,y and a button to unlock and lock. No fingerprint scanner is available in this. We get a SIM tray with it. It has both a memory card and a SIM card. You can expand the storage by installing an SD card. Our tablet is 5G compatible, so we can install a physical 5G SIM in it.

It is not like an iPad that means you will have to use only ECM. It is physical. And it has support up to 18 bands for 5G. But if you take the Wi-Fi variant,t then you will get only an SD card slot. You will not get a SIM slot. But the speakers are 4,x4, which is a good thing, ng, and thetype-Cc port is 2,0 so you won’t get any display out. Plus, if you want to do file transfer, er then the speed will also be less, ss which is kind of a drawback because at this price, we get goodtype-Cc port tablets. OnePlus is also doing Apple stuff, don’t know why!

Display:

The main thing about this tablet is its display, and this tablet’s display is amazing. ing So, we get a 12.1-inch 2800×1980 resolution display, which is a good resolution. And this is a 120Hz display, so the scrolling is very smooth, the animation is smooth, and it is fun to play. Sometimes it shifts to 60 Hz, which is because of the chipset. It is not a flagship, but it gives you 120 Hz. The brightness is 900 nits. It is very bright. And it looks very good according to the outdoor. But you will definitely get to see some reflections. So you can use a matte screen guard for that. If you don’t want it. Or if you want to use it more outdoors. There will be no issue in the indoor.

The bezels are very thin. The screen-to-body ratio is also good. And a 7:5 aspect ratio is there. Due to which you will feel a very big and big display. This ratio is very good for reading, productivity, and multitasking. Because we also get a similar type of ratio on iPad. But movies, entertainment, if you want to watch YouTube videos, you can use a thicker border. You will enjoy watching videos, and if you want to do some productivity editing, you will find the colors very accurate. You can work professionally. They have given such a great display. And talking about HDR, you can play 4K 60 HDR content on YouTube. We also get support for HDR10 and Dolby Vision on Netflix. So its display is very good for entertainment.

Specifications:

Now let’s come to the specifications you can see in the given picture. You can also see the storage read and write speed. You can also expand it by installing a 1 TB SD card,d but 256 is also very good. If you want to download heavy stuff,ff you can move to 1 T, B otherwise 256 will be enough.

Performance:

Now let’s talk about the performance because the processor that we get in it is MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra. Now this processor is quite good performance-wise. see It is based on 4nm. Overall, it gives you a good performance. But we can’t judge it withouta benchmark. You can see in the picture the score of Geekbench 6. We have also done a benchmark of Geekbench AI. And you can also see the score of M22. It is around 1 million. You can also see the CPU total test. The color is green, which means the stability is good. There is no throttling in the tablets. Because they are big, there is no problem with heat.

We also did the 3DMark Wildlife test, so you can see the stability in it. Overall, the benchmarks are very good. It will do it without lag, shutter, or hiccups. So if you want to edit reels or do small editing work, then you can do that too. Andmany apps are available on the Play Store. Through them, you can do a little bit of productivity. More professional work is done better on a laptop. So, prefer a laptop for that. As such, if you want to do anything in your day-to-day life, then there will be no major issue as such.

Camera:

Now comes the camera. So, we get two cameras in this. The front camera is placed horizontally, and the back camera is placed vertically. Both are 8MP cameras, which we found a bit less. OnePlus should have given at least 13MPforn this price. But it’s okay. It doesn’t record more than 1080p 30fps.

You can see that in some other camera applications like video, photo, selfie, and more. We don’t get more than 1080p 30fps support. The same front camera doesn’t have that support. According to us, they could have done better, according to the price. But it’s okay, you won’t have any problem with the tablet.

Speakers:

The speakers of this pad are really good. It’s really good, you have to admit it. It has a good bass and a good loudness. If you want to enjoy the movie or music, you can easily do it with its speakers. You get good sound quality, bass, aand manymore things.

UI:

Now comes the UI part. And to be honest, Oxygen OS looks great in terms of tablets. Android 16 is out of the box with Oxygen OS 16. It seems to have a user-friendly interface. You can see that there are not many applications like Bloatware. There are no extra Chinese apps in this. OnePlus has promised 5 years of OS updates and 6 years of security updates with this tablet.

Let’s see how much they keep their promises. But if this is the case, then it is very crazy because generally tablets don’t get updates for more than 2-3 years,s so 5 years is more than enough according to us. So you can be sure of Android 21.

Features:

There are many other gestures in the settings. If you press three fingers, you will get a screenshot. But we don’t get any vibrations or haptics in this. Generally, tablets don’t come with this, but in our opinion, it would be better if it comes. You can enjoy cross-device integration with other devices likeOnePluss and ColorOS. It’s like an ecosystem where you can pick up phone calls on your tablet, copy and paste, and screen mirroring. You can do the same things in the Apple ecosystem withOnePluss devices through tablets. Even Realme andOppoo color os devices will be paired with it.

Stylus:

Now let’s come to our stylus because we get a lot of things on the stylus. With the PadGo 2, there is support for the OnePlus Stylo. The previous one, the OnePlus PadGo, didn’t have support for the stylus. There is only one drawback: it supports wired charging. But the backup is good. The brand claims that you can use it for 20 hours. But it isweirdd. It would have been fun if they had given wireless. So this is a Bluetooth stylus, and you can connect it wwith Bluetoothfrom setting. And after that, nothing happens, just start using it. It works great with it.

You can also check the notes in the app. You can also use the handwriting recognition feature. You can also use the handwriting calculator. You can also use the hand scribble feature. You can also search for notes by writing something. So you get palm rejection in it. Along with that, pressure sensitivity is also supported in it up to 4096 levels. AItalso has a tilt sensitivity feature. So if you want to do some drawing, you can do it in a good way.

Battery:

Let’s talk about the battery of the tablet. It has a 10,050 mAh battery. The backup is very good. If you use it continuously, you will get a backup of 8-9 hours. It works well for 2-3 days. So you won’t have any problem with the battery. Plus, it is fast charging. It was 45 watts. So, the charge is also done at a good speed. So, if you want to use it continuously, you can finish 2-3 movies in this single charge.

There are many tablets in the market that directly compete with this one. The biggest competitor isthe  Xiaomi Pad 7. The display is good, the speakers are good, and all the features are good. In terms of UI, we think OnePlus is a little better in comparison to Xiaomi’s Hyper OS. Apart from that, the feature is loaded,d but its processor is good. 7 Plus Gen 3 is a little better because its score is 1.3 milli, and this is 1 million. So it is a little better in performance.

The performance is quite good compared to the previous model. If you want 5G connectivity, then you can prefer this model. Because the Xiaomi Pad 7 comes only with Wi-Fi. And if we talk about 5G, then the iPad A16 is its direct competitor. We get a good A16 chip in this, which is better in terms of performance. But then the display and speaker are not that good.

You can also prefer the Pro version, which has all the features, a good processo good display, good speakers, and it is 12.7 inches in size, so it will give you almost the same feel as a big tablet.
